Yes, our privacy and private information is being hijacked, stolen, and sold daily. Should we really care? After all, don’t we want to get a note telling us that our favorite shoes are going on sale?

The great party at our favorite restaurant, the fun pictures we posted on Facebook, and then comes the complementary gift card attachment in our inbox… Why would we think this could be a problem? If you open it, will you allow phishing software/malware into your system?

I read recently that it took on average 24 phone calls to a business before someone would believe the sad story about the new company employee that had lost his password and needed help in order to save his job… And the fraudster is into the company system with approved credentials.

This sounds easy to stop – it’s not.
